The BeeBlot designed and manufactured by Bee Robotics Ltd. offers full automation for Western Blot strip based assays.

The user-friendly software allows the user to design custom assays, which can be uploaded to the instrument to run from an integral keypad. Up to 50 samples can be run per assay.

Precision stepper motors move a dispensing arm above the tray wells, and up to 6 reagents (option for another 3 reagents) can be delivered under software control. A reagent save feature draws back the remaining reagent into the bottles after dispensing is completed.

Colour coding is used to easily identify reagent positions and associated pump. Luer connectors are used throughout for ease of maintenance.
